Hello, my name is Karen Gryne and I am excited to hav you enrolled in my class! I hope by the end of the class, you would have learned a lot more than what you had already matered in 8th grade.
I am married with two girls, ages 9 and 14 years old. My youngest is involved in basketball and playing the clarinet, while my eldest is engaged in track and field and cross country. I have lived in Georgia since 1998 and love it! I have been teaching mathematics since 1995, for over 22 years, at the middle and high school levels. I have my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Secondary Mathematics Education. I started my teaching career in Florida. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida and my Master's degree from Piedmont College in DeMorest, Ga.
I love to teach mathematics, but most importantly, I love to teach children and see their faces light up when they understand what's being taught. I hope you have a very productive and enjoyable time in my class.
